Well, where has this year gone, we have met some fabulous new people and customers and done some fabulous new stuff, some more challenging than others it would have to be said, someone mentioned the dark art of sublimation and some days that is a spot on description!!
It cannot be said that the Lake District weather has excelled itself for our show season this year - The Langdale Gala was fab, we were in the cake tent and had to help judge all the yummy cakes, pies, tray bakes, soups etc, never mind Bake Off, this was inspiring enough although I confess to being rather full after that show! Ambleside Sports redeemingly we were in the craft tent and felt so sorry for the sports contestants as it rained really quite heavily, Coniston Show, fantastic location, really well organised local country show with the biggest craft table I have ever had to fill! Torver Show was on a new showground this year, we were out of the craft tent opposite the main ring where the commentator kept us amused all day - he is soooo good!! Thanks to Angus and the pies for keeping us feeling hungry all day, Cartmel was a challenge, we were also outside for that and spent the whole day hanging onto our gazebo so we didnt do a Mary Poppins!! Grasmere Sports was excellently organised by Val and George, fantastic show with so many visitors - always one of my favourites - particularly as I was situated next to the flapjack stall!! The Hawkshead Show unfortunately had to be cancelled due to the bad weather but we are due to be at the Hawkshead Christmas Fair on the 2/3 December so please come and support the village there with us, huge fun last year as long as you had thermals on!!
We are now doing our own Christmas decorations both for businesses and ourselves, don't forget for business customers we offer good trade prices and have no minimum order so you can get some things printed with your own logo to sell and for our other customers, we cn personalise anything on our website with your own photos making the gifts ideal for Christmas and Birthday presents.
Favourite items we have printed this year? Well, I think the keepsake boxes look fantastic as well as water bottles and the slates with eiher pictures on or paintings but the most spectacular was the other day when we printed a glass clock up with an image of early morning mist on Helvellyn - absolutely took my breath away!!
